And I know these care packages are normally associated with parents, but when I was in college it was always nice if aunts, uncles or anyone else joined it the giving as well.
One of the most exciting times in your life is when you head off to college. Now, let me tell you why. First of all, you no longer have to deal with the parents, at least not everyday. Suddenly freedom is yours. There's no curfew or punishment for coming in at 4 a.m. There's no one telling you to get your homework done before you head out to have some fun. And there's definitely no one forcing you to consume certain foods. Of course if you take too much advantage of these freedoms you realize your parents were right all along, but that's another story. For now, the world is yours for the taking.
You schedule the classes when you want them to be, although in some cases you take them when you can get them. Alarm clocks are for the birds and the folks who are still in high school.
